چکیده
How the root metabolic profiles and rhizosphere bacterial communities of dioecious plants respond to soil properties sex identity is largely unknown. In this study, we analyzed phenolic metabolomes microbiomes Populus euphratica females males in two P. plantations with different reveal relative importance effects, decipher associations certain compounds specific taxa. We found that abundances OTUs metabolites were closely linked identity. Soil main filter influencing euphratica, while sexes their interactions are secondary factors. Differences diversity evenness affected by plant sex, but not properties. Conversely, independent sex. A multiple regression model indicated presence between bacteria Furthermore, all phyla families correlated at least one metabolite. Especially, both Nitrosomonadaceae Cytophagaceae positively salicylic acid. Thus, our study provides new insights into ecological mechanism maintains desert area.

GUO HC, WANG WB, LUO XH & WU XP. 2015. Characteristics of rhizosphere and bulk soil microbial communities in rubber plantations in Hainan Island, China. Phospholipid fatty acid analysis was used to investigate spatial variations in microbial communities of rhizosphere and bulk soil in rubber plantations in Hainan Island. Rhizosphere and bulk soil were collected from immature and mature rubber t...
متن کاملGenetic Differentiation and Delimitation between Ecologically Diverged Populus euphratica and P. pruinosa
BACKGROUND The fixed genetic differences between ecologically divergent species were found to change greatly depending on the markers examined. With such species it is difficult to differentiate between shared ancestral polymorphisms and past introgressions between the diverging species. In order to disentangle these possibilities and provide a further case for DNA barcoding of plants, we exami...
متن کاملDistinct patterns of natural selection in Na+/H+ antiporter genes in Populus euphratica and Populus pruinosa
Salt tolerance genes constitute an important class of loci in plant genomes. Little is known about the extent to which natural selection in saline environments has acted upon these loci, and what types of nucleotide diversity such selection has given rise to. Here, we surveyed genetic diversity in three types of Na+/H+ antiporter gene (SOS, NhaD, and NHX, belonging to the cation/proton antiport...
متن کاملmulching and cover crops effects on the soil and rhizosphere-associated bacterial communities in field experiment
agricultural sustainability is closely related with the efficient use of natural resources, which are primarily transformed by the action of microorganisms. soil microorganisms are usually used as early indicators of soil quality since they rapidly respond to changes in soil management. a field experiment was carried out aiming to evaluate the effect of siratro (macroptylium atropurpureum), bah...
متن کاملEvolution of bacterial communities in the wheat crop rhizosphere.
The gap between current average global wheat yields and that achievable through best agronomic management and crop genetics is large. This is notable in intensive wheat rotations which are widely used. Expectations are that this gap can be reduced by manipulating soil processes, especially those that involve microbial ecology. Cross-year analysis of the soil microbiome in an intensive wheat cro...
